The Peace Demo, London, March 08

This is the latest Antiwar/ Peace/Palestinian demonstration that took part in central London.  It was full of energy as always but the 50 meter long, 10 meter wide Palestinian flag added a very dramatic tone to it. It was absolutely spectacular!  So I spent most of my time marching and shooting infront or beside the flag procession. I only had my old EOS film SLR with me and just a few rolls of 400TX.  Since 2002, when the Stop the War coalition started its long campaign i photographed nearly all of the demos and always in B&W. This is the first time I wished i had some colour film with me, mainly because of the gorgeous Palestinian flag.

At the end of the demo, I finally got to meet Tony Benn (is that how you spell his last name?) and briefly had a chat with him.  I have som many shots of him I must scann them upload them.
